Performance management and wikis
I want to blog about wikinomics, Clay Shirky’s “Here comes everybody”, and Performance Management - specifically around “What were they thinking?”
Isn’t it insane to judge me about how I’m better than everyone else in my cohort - and expect me to share?
You try and motivate me with money - and then are surprised that I waste my time gaming the system?
Lots of clever people have said this is a bad idea - so why do we keep making the mistakes?
My management say “Let us know the obstacles…”
How about the performance management system you expect us to waste 10% of our time on - at least 4 times a year…
